For 16 years, Pizzicato Five was the go-to group for 60’s hipster cool with a dash of the exotic. Over the years the band had a variety of line-ups, but the core sound always remained firmly in the smoky lounges of 60’s London. Which, for a Japanese band seems a little odd now, but hey… it was good stuff.
Let’s spend a little afternoon time with the now-disbanded Pizzicato Five.
So kick things off with Sweet Soul Revue, and then head into the jump for some serious lounge love.
