The mysterious AMDS has tapped into one of my favorite side-effects of the movie mash-up trend: namely I finally get to see all the weird matchups my friends and I nerd out over.  I mean really, who doesn’t want to see a throwdown between Neo and say, Robocop?  If you said you didnt, I will totally fight you.

What’s most impressive about this clip (aside from the sheer pants tinglingly awesome premise) is how AMDS managed to use something as simple as the color to more seamlessly blend some wildly different footage.  Kudos to you, good sir. 

If this is better than X-Men: 3 (which myself and the Razorfine folk are previewing tonight), I’m going to be really sad.
