In celebration of the election and inauguration of Barack Obama (a self-admitted comic book nerd, seriously - how cool is that!) Marvel Comics is putting out a special comic featuring everyone’s favorite wall-crawler, Spider-Man.
Amazing Spider-Man #583 (hitting comic shops Wednesday, January 14th) will feature a special story about Spidey saving the new leader of the free world at his swearing in ceremony along with a special 50/50 variant cover of Obama.

I think you’re overlooking the classic Heroes Against Hunger or perhaps even the Meatloaf powered Special Olympics comic Marvel put out in the early 80’s.
Marvel can outpander the fuck out of DC.
