Meet Jake Shimabukuro.  This guy is just astoundingly awesome on the ukulele.  Dig on his incredible version of ”While My Guitar Gently Weeps“.

I would totally sell my hands to the robot devil for that kind of skill.

Yeah he’s good, but I would have expected a ukeleleist to be exempt from the requirement that guitar players introduce every song they play.

This guy is amazing, what a player. If you like him you should check out Raul Midon. http://www.midon.com He’s just an amazing singer and guitar player. Check out the Kennedy Center perfomance. Also check out State of Mind his new cd, thanks for the clip of this guy though.

Yeah that’s a George Harrison tune. While my guitar gently weeps is rad, specially when he did it with Erick Claptin! That should be an easy tab to find. I’m sure you could find it on google with relative ease. Yea, that Raul dude is pretty groovey, he’s like a livelier version of Jack Johnson, but way more energy. I’ve been diggin Kings of Leon lately, Molly’s Chambers and King of Rodeo are cew songs. And Hayseed Dixie! Their hilariously awesome! They cover tons of awesome rock songs with banjos and blue grass instruments!

I looked up the guitar tabs for this song after I saw the video. The song is fairly easy to play and mixed with some good fingerpicking rolls, will make it sound incredible….not as good as this guy tho!!!

    I’m feeling nice today

Of course, I can’t speak to the accuracy of any of those tabs, being as I can’t play the ukulele with my mammoth claws.

    whoops, nevermind.

It seems it’s hard to find. Ole’ Jake hed it (and all of his other songs) removed from most sites.

I tried to be nice for once, damnit! I won’t make that mistake again.

I think it’s more to do with being super good at playing the ukulele and it should just fall together. I mean tabs would be nice if your learning the tune, but this guy has obviously played it enough times to personalize it, and he’s become so proud that he won’t share them with you…

I found it on piratebay.org but no one is seeding it, I guess it’s the last place that it remains

True True bu ti woudl like to know how the tabs go for uke caus ei dotn hink there the same for acoustic i think the closest this to uke is bass bcause of the 4 strings but you have a good point he is a pro and probably personalized it

Quit asking for the tabs, I posted them, and quit trying to simplify Jake’s work (which is to say Harrison’s work). You seriously think he’s just playing that tiny little tab over an over during that masterpiece?

Yes. That’s exactly what I think.

Wow that was an amazing take on it, and by the way people, eric claptons version should not even be attempted on the guitar, very few can recreate what eric did to establish himself as such an amazing guitarist.
