3 Ways Technology Can Improve Your Life
It’s crazy how much our daily lives are intertwined with technology – as technology improves, we become more and more dependent on it and the benefits it provides us with. Whether you’re using the Internet to find the best consultants to work with, or you’re using GPS monitoring technology in order to cut driving costs and ensure your business is more efficient. Here are my top 3 ways technology can improve your life:
1. Google Search
I don’t know what we all did before Google was around – well, I know, but I don’t want to go back to that time. I literally use Google for everything, from researching my next trip away through to finding information about where to eat out when I’m in a new town or city. Google searches are also a great way to find good consultants in your area that you can work with. One of my favourite features is that often places and businesses in Google have reviews, meaning that you can easily find out more information about the businesses you’re planning to work with, before you have even stepped in their door. I personally take some time to check through the reviews to see if I see any red flags. Bare in mind that people are likely to only post reviews if they had an exceptional or terrible experience – people who experienced what they expected are much less likely to leave a review. 2. Technology for your Business
Whether you’re self employed or an employee at a big company, I’m sure that there are some ways in which you use technology in your every day work life. One of the best implementations I’ve seen of technology making a big difference in a business, is the application of GPS fleet management as a way to reduce business expenses and fuel expenses, ensuring the business is running as smoothly as possible. 3. Apps on Your Phone
I personally love apps on my phone and have a bunch that I use daily, from tracking activity through to helping me understand how I’m sleeping. If you’re hunting for some new phone apps, here are some of my favourites and why I love them. Audible: it’s an app where you can purchase and listen to audiobooks. Super easy to use, I find that I listen to way more books than I’d ever be able to read normally. I listen to my audiobooks when I’m walking my dogs or commuting. Pillow: This is a sleep tracking app that connects automatically with my iWatch, meaning I can easily track how my sleep is going and the best thing is that it’s automated, I don’t have to remember to turn it on.
