It is sometimes difficult to get children to eat their vegetables. In our topic today we talk about how we can persuade their little minds and make them ask for more.

Serve the best for the last

It is not advisable for adults to start giving children the food they like most, just serve that for last. In every meal try to start with what they do not like. Like in this case, vegetables. Serve the ice cream, milk and cookies for after the meal has been eaten up. At times the child is full with junk food and cannot take in more food. Therefore plan on the child’s everyday meal.

New Cooking Methods

Try new healthy cooking methods that make the vegetables tastier. Sometimes you just have to gamble with food. We are not referring to gamble to online casino gaming. We mean involve baking and or shallow frying with natural oils such as coconut or olive oil. Reports mentioned by experts say boiling vegetable is healthier but let’s face it kids do not enjoy the food.  Rather introduce a new method of cooking vegetable so that they become more enjoyable to eat.

Ever noticed that children do not like broccoli? This because the vegetable is bitter and their sense to taste has not adapted to the nutritious food. Therefore cut them into smaller pieces and add them to a variety of meals so that they can be consumed.

Serve vegetables with dip

Many children love their vegetables with dip. Try adding mayonnaise, Greek yoghurt or sour cream. However, store-bought dressing sauce is not so good. Therefore try a homemade which include garlic and onion powder, kosher salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and Greek yoghurt. Just like top casinos online games, variety is the spice of life.

Add colours

Vegetables come in different colours and sizes. Remember what is appealing for the eye is much tastier. Children love colours so get creative with your vegetables. Mix, cook and serve your vegetables in one meal so that they become colourful.
