3 Tips for De-stressing After a Crazy Week

Life can feel a little hectic, especially when we have so many things to juggle. From dealing with work pressures, study requirements, family catch ups, making time for your children and partner, and then somehow you’re supposed to fit your hobbies and friends into the mix too. It’s a lot! If you’re feeling stressed, you’re not alone, but there are a few things you can do to help yourself destress after a crazy week. Here are my top 3 tips for de-stressing after a crazy week:


1. Have Some Fun
Fun is a pretty broad thing and what constitutes fun for you will depend on your hobbies and interests. I think it’s really important to inject some fun into your mid week life so that you can make it through to the weekend. This is especially important when you’re feeling stressed or if you have a high pressure job. Some things that are fun that you can easily add into your life: playing board games with friends, picking up a new hobby and playing on the best usa casino sites. Injecting some fun into your mid week will make it go faster and feel less stressful.

2. Get Some Exercise In
Sweating in the gym is a wonderful way to burn calories and destress. If you don’t have an exercise routine yet, you’re going to want to start small and slowly build up. If you try to rush it too much and do too much at once, there’s a good chance you wont bother going back. If you can do something you enjoy for exercise, all the better. I also suggest having an exercise buddy if you can, someone who will keep you accountable and make it more fun.

3. Get Outside
There’s something so refreshing about being outdoors in nature. I personally love being by the ocean and watching the waves crash, but you might find peace in a forest walk or even just getting out and about in your neighbourhood. If I have any projects that are bothering me or things that are hot on my mind, I like to take a long walk outside. I pop on some headphones, a great playlist and let my mind figure it out while getting a chance of scenery.
