Bali is one of those must see destinations because it really has everything to offer, from stunning beaches to excellent customer service, there’s even a world class water park. Whatever time you have planned for your trip to Bali, my only piece of advice is to extend your trip because I know you’re going to want to stay for longer, it’s really that great. It’s an affordable travel destination where you’re going to get a lot of bang for your buck. You will find it a lot more affordable than traveling around other countries such as the United States, New Zealand and Australia for example. The people of Bali are well known for being friendly, having big beautiful smiles and giving service that’s hard to beat around the world. The island is home to some of the world’s most stunning landscapes and is dotted with beautiful temples that are extremely photogenic. If you’re considering a trip to Bali, check out these great Bali deals. Here are my favourite places you just have to visit on a trip to Bali:

1. Ubud
If you’re into yoga, then this is likely to be your favourite place in all of Bali. There’s something magic about Ubud and just walking around the streets of Ubud is likely to fill you with a sense of peace and wonder. There are a few world class yoga studios here, my two favourites being The Yoga Barn and Radiantly Alive Studio, both have regular yoga classes and a variety of yoga teacher trainings and workshops throughout the year. There are also an abundance of healthy restaurants, smoothie shops and fresh coconuts being sold throughout these cute little town. If you’re like me and mildly addicted to massages, then you will be in your own version of paradise here as there are so many great places to get massages at affordable prices. The magic about Ubud is quite simply the other travellers you’ll meet here and on every visit I’ve always met incredible people who have shaped my life in great ways.

2. Seminyak
It would be a crime to come to Bali and to not visit a beach and the best one in my opinion is probably Seminyak Beach. It’s a bit more upmarket than other parts of Bali, but in a good way. The shopping district is lined with high end shops and restaurants while the beach itself is golden and lovely to lay on. It’s perfect for a romantic couples escape, a family trip, or even the solo traveller just hoping to catch some sun’s rays. You can visit for a day trip if you want, but I would suggest finding some accommodation and spending a few days here.

3. Kuta
I honestly have a love-hate relationship with Kuta because I find it to be a little tacky, however there are two reasons why I do think it’s worth visiting Kuta, the first being if you love surfing. Kuta is, in my opinion, the best place to surf in Bali so if you love surfing then there’s really no reason to skip going to Kuta. The second reason is the waterpark. Water Bomb Park in Kuta is the second reason: I’ve been to a ton of parks overseas including both waterparks and theme parks and Water Bomb in Bali features as one of the best in the world. It’s reasonably priced, so much so that you can easily go a few days in a row and it wont break the bank. It’s a super fun activity to do as a family, group of friends or as a couple.
Traveling to Bali is a great holiday option and I know if you travel to these three destinations you’re bound to have a great time. Have you been before? Let me know in the comments below where you loved!
