If you’re like me, you spend most of your working day fantasising about your next holiday away. If I don’t have a holiday booked, I start to feel restless and frustrated. Having a holiday already set in stone and planned gives me something to look forward to and focus on when the daily grind gets a little hard. If you’re in the mood for a relaxing holiday, here are my top 4 relaxing holiday suggestions to get you inspired.

1. A Cruise
I love everything about going on a cruise: I love that you don’t have to pack and unpack your bags every second day or so. I love that when you’re on board the ship, your meals are all included and you have a number of great restaurants to choose from. One of my favourite parts about being on a cruise is that while you sleep, you’re likely moving to a different location or country, waking up somewhere new to explore. I think cruises are a great option for all types of holidays, whether you’re heading away with friends, as a family, or just with your partner, a cruise is a very relaxing holiday. Be sure to bring extra cash with you so you can splurge on a massage or two to ensure it is the most relaxing holiday you’ve ever enjoyed. If you’re interested in cruises, check out these great options.

2. A Beach Holiday
I love heading to the beach, especially with children because the beach is wonderful family holiday idea. You can buy some cheap beach toys when you arrive, such as a shovel and bucket, and they’ll be happily entertained all day. I also think a beach holiday can wind up being quite a low cost holiday, as the beach provides much of the entertainment, versus a trip to Disney for example where you have to spend hundreds of dollars before you’re even in the door. If you’re thinking about heading to the Bahamas, check out https://www.bettermcrbahamas.com/eng for some properties in the Bahamas. If you want to make home feel more like a holiday, then you might want to check out these beautiful properties for sale through Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Signature Service.
3. A Spa Holiday
If you’re anything like me, then a holiday doesn’t feel complete without a little pool action and a massage. If you’re wanting an ultra relaxing trip, you can transform any trip into something a little more relaxing by finding a good quality spa nearby or even choosing a hotel that offers these services. This can be a good middle ground if you’re traveling with someone who’s more interested in an adventurous holiday, so you can both be happy.

4. Hit Up the All Inclusive
I personally don’t love worrying about budgeting and expenses when traveling, that’s why I actually love an all-inclusive resort holiday. Choose a hotel that includes food and drinks, so you can just enjoy your time there without worrying about paying bills or tipping. I do suggest leaving a little bit of cash for your housekeeping staff, but otherwise tipping is generally discouraged at most all-inclusive hotels or you can leave a tip when you leave that will be shared evenly amongst staff.

A relaxing holiday is a great way to unwind and destress from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
